Homemade Artisan Christmas Cakes
There’s something rather special about a proper homemade Christmas cake – rich, fruity, a little bit boozy and made slowly in the run-up to Christmas.
Our Cornish Cakey Tea Christmas Cakes are handmade in small batches using a traditional rich fruit cake recipe. Each cake is generously soaked in Amaretto and given plenty of time to mature, before being finished with marzipan, icing and a beautiful festive decoration ready for your Christmas table.
Handmade in Cornwall
We don’t mass-produce our Christmas cakes. Every one is mixed, baked, fed and decorated by hand, which means we can only make a limited number each year.
After an incredible response to our Christmas cake launch at Truro Food Festival, our 2026 order book is already filling up. Once we reach capacity, unfortunately we won’t be able to squeeze any more in – so early ordering is definitely recommended!

8-inch round Christmas Cake – £70
A generous traditional Christmas cake for sharing with family and friends.
Both sizes come fully marzipaned, iced and decorated for Christmas.

To reserve your cake, simply get in touch with Cornish Cakey Tea with your preferred size and collection requirements.
A 50% deposit secures your order, with the remaining balance payable before or on collection.

A big selection of vintage fine bone china is available to hire from as little as £2.50 per person. We also offer Wedding Cakes and mini cake selections to display on our rustic cake stand.

All our cakes are made at home in a Cornish Kitchen using the freshest of ingredients. We have Food Hygiene Level 2 , Allergen training certifications And have been awarded a rating of 5 from the local authority Food hygiene team.
All our accompanying produce is sourced locally from Cornish Brands such as Rodda's, Boddington's Berries and Cornish Tea & Coffee.
Occasion Cakes
We specialise in delicious buttercream cakes in a huge range of flavours and designs.
Rustic, traditional flavours, made with nothing added, just the right ingredients to make light and fluffy celebration cakes for all sorts of occasions, like this classic victoria sponge cake with fresh vanilla Italian Meringue Buttercream frosting and lashings of strawberry jam.
Drip cakes, semi-naked cakes and chocolate ganache covered sponges with some new and exciting flavours like our Biscoff drip cake or our Ferrero Roche chocolate ganache sponge.

All our own packaging is made from either card or paper based products and is completely recyclable.
We ensure all other products in our boxes are made from recyclable materials.
